Democratic Representative offers offer spinal transplant to Reid and Pelosi

Finally a Democrat with guts! I am ready to upchuck with the Democratic Party’s lack of courage and willingness to lie down for the dollars. If the Democrats lose the next elections, they will have no one to blame but themselves.

The Senate Finance committee showed us their real masters when they voted against the Public Option.

For years, the Democratic wimps and CODs (corporate owned Democrats) in congress have backed off and shown their bellies when Republicans or lobbyists call them names. The Republicans best friends in the next elections will be the Corporate Owned Democrats.

Putting healthcare and wars aside only for a moment, when we voted for Obama we thought we were getting a smart, tough, and principled Chicago pol. Any Chicago pol on any side would never take the lies and the bull that the R’s are tossing around to distort the truth. We thought we would get someone with the leadership skills to take the argument away from Beck and Hannity, returning the debate to the voters and taking it away from the GOP hate machine.

We thought having the majority meant something.

The Corporate Owned Democrats are unwilling to cut down the corporate lobbyists, and right wing media millionaires like Limbaugh and Hannity feed the flames of hate with lies and bigotry to keep their incomes up.

The right sees America’s workers and middle class as consumers, and not very important ones since India and China are growing in population and prosperity. Where is Obama in this giveaway to the Health insurance companies?

We thought we had elected a congress and a president go give us what the majority voted for.

Democratic Florida Congressman Alan Grayson showed the blue dogs why they are called dogs.

Dogs are the ultimate beggars following campaign donations from insurance companies. Picturing blue dog Dems on the ground with their rumps in the air should be disgusting enough picture for anyone who voted for change in the last election.

This Congressman not only has teeth, he has brains. He is saying what we are saying. Check this coverage of Grayson's go round with Republican thugs on healthcare reform:

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) said the Republican health care plan is “don’t get sick,” and if you do get sick, “die quickly.” After offering those facetious and sadly accurate remarks, Grayson came under criticism from Rep. Tom Price (R-GA), who demanded that Grayson apologize on the House floor. Speaking to reporters this afternoon, Grayson said, “Yes, it was tongue-in-cheek. I’m surprised I have to explain that, but that’s the way it goes these days.” He added that he’s “not taking any of it back” and will “stand by what I said.”

When asked if he would apologize, Grayson offered this:

“I would like to apologize,” he said. “I would like to apologize to the dead.”

Quoting a statistic that 44,789 Americans die each year from lack of health insurance, Grayson said, “That is more than ten times the number of Americans who died in the war in Iraq, it’s more than ten times the number of Americans who died on 9/11. …It happens every year.”

Grayson added in another apparent dig at the GOP, “We should care about people even after they are born.”

Grayson apologized one last time.
“I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner,” he said.
“I don’t think the Democrats need to be on defense,” Grayson told reporters. “I think we should be on the offense and not the defense, and that’s where I plan to stay"

On CNN later, Grayson said
“I'm not the one who should apologize, they should apologize to America." He added, "Democrats have to have guts and now we have to have the guts to take the majority that the American people gave to us and do something with it. And what we have to do is solve people's problems."

Grayson’s “Die Quickly” statement is not the only thing the Republicans have against him.
He has a bill in Congress, the Pay for Performance Act, already passed in the house.
He argued in an op-ed on the Huffington Post that his bill would put an end to "theft" on Wall Street, "which is apparently the only place in the world where you can steal from the taxpayers and then bill them for services rendered."

Grayson “These are government owned banks. Is anybody upset that some bureaucrat sets compensation for people who work in the State Department or the Department of Transportation? Why are they complaining when we're trying to put some kind of break on this vomiting of taxpayer money?"
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Grayson blows off criticisms.


"A stuck pig squeals loudly," the congressional representative says. "I'm going after some of the biggest crooks in the country and they're fighting back…..



In response to the claim that banks needed to pay obscene pay scales to keep good employees, Grayson said about those overpaid with tax dollars "I wish they would take their talent and practice their talent in Russia or China and bankrupt them instead of us."

Americans like people who fight for them, and with them, not ones who back down whenever the bully enters the schoolyard.
