Woman admits making up attack linked to McCain bumper sticker.

Police said Texas the woman has admitted to faking the report about the assault.
The woman had told police a man robbed and beat her after seeing a McCain sticker on her car.
She said the man kicked and punched her and carved a B into her cheek with a knife.

Today the woman admitted she made up the report, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, assistant police chief said Friday.

Her original statement said a man (big scary black man) approached her Wednesday night at an ATM in Pittsburgh's East End, put a knife to her throat and demanded money, Pittsburgh Police said.
She said she gave him $60 and stepped away from him police reported.

She further said the man "punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, and continued to punch and kick her, threatening to teach her a lesson for being a McCain supporter".

The woman told police her attacker "called her a lot of names and stated that 'You are going to be a Barack supporter,' at which time she said he sat on her chest, pinning both her hands down with his knees, and scratched into her face a backward letter 'B' on the right side of her face using what she believed to be a very dull knife."

McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker said that McCain and running mate Sarah Palin"spoke to the victim and her family after learning about the incident."

Sure goes a long way to McCain's and Palin's Character judgment. I just hope I hear that Limbaugh and Hannity were making an issue of the "insane, black. Obama supporter".
